When you sign up for a paid Learning account, you should be eligible for a 1-month free trial. If you do not cancel during that period, you will be charged $20-30 per month for access.

Sign Up via Los Angles Public Library
Many public libraries, including Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL), subscribe to lynda.com / Linkedin Learning.
How to sign up via LAPL:
- If you already have a physical LAPL library card, skip to step 4.
- If you only have a LAPL e-card, you will need to get a physical card to get the best and longest access to LinkedIn Learning. Go to step 3.
- Get a physical LAPL Library Card. Fill out the application, bring ID and proof of address, then go to a branch to get a physical card.
- Library cards are free to any resident of California.
- The Westchester-Loyola Village Branch is 2 blocks from campus at Lincoln & Manchester
- Go to this LinkedIn Learning page or navigate to Education & Research > Online Learning
- Log in with your Los Angeles Public Library card and PIN number and create an account.

Once you have created an account via LAPL, you can access it from their Online Learning page, from their LinkedIn Learning page.
If you are using the app or logging in via linkedin.com/learning,
- Choose Sign in with your iibrary card
- Enter lapl as the Library ID.
- Enter your LAPL card number and PIN

Many public libraries across the country offer access to LinkedIn Learning. They may have different sign-up information and requirements, so please visit the library website first to find out their policies.
