Does Otis have a subscription to the New York Times?

I heard that I can access it for free through Otis.

Answer

Yes. We have a group subscription to nytimes.com. You have to sign up for the pass using your Otis email address.

  1. Go to accessnyt.com
  2. Search for and select Otis College of Art and Design
  3. Create an account using your @otis.edu or @student.otis.edu email address

If you have an existing paid digital subscription using your Otis email address, you need to cancel it before signing up for the free pass. Follow these directions: Cancel Your Subscription. You may also need to delete your account.

Please contact edu@nytimes.com if you run into problems switching from a paid account to the free pass. Also, contact them if you do not receive the verification email.

Students: The subscription expires on December 31st of your projected graduation year.

Faculty and Staff: Subscriptions expire after 365 days.

To renew your account, log into your NYT account and then go to www.nytimes.com/passes
